On the September 25th at the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Cyprian Kamil Norwid won the prize for the outstanding work of art created in a given calendar year in four categories: literature, music, visual arts, theater.

In the field of music, the composer, musician, clarinetist Paweł Mykietyn received the prize for his opera "The Magic Mountain", which was presented in 2016 at the Warsaw Autumn Festival. The Opera was launched on the initiative and had a world premiere at the 25th Malta Festival Poznan.

"The Magic Mountain" is a co-production of the Malta Festival Poznań, Krakow Festival Office and the Polish Radio II Program. The premiere of the critically-acclaimed opera was held in June 2015. "Magic Mountain" was at the top of cultural rankings in 2015, among others. Radio Three, Culture.pl, O.pl, Polityka, Gazeta Wyborcza and Polska. Earlier, the show brought the Prize to them. Konrad Swinarski for the best season director Andrzej Chyrze. Paweł Mykietyn, the opera composer, received the prestigious prestigious "Teatr" monthly and the "Koryfeusz Muzyki Polskiej 2015" in the "Personality of the Year" category last year. Barbara Kinga Majewska, Kłodzia's role model, was nominated for three "Polityka" Passports in the "Serious Music" category.

The creators of the opera "The Magic Mountain" are the composer Paweł Mykietyn, with the libretto of Małgorzata Sikorska-Miszczuk, directed by Andrzej Chyry and the scenery by Mirosław Balka.
