Mauro Pallotta, who creates under the pseudonym Maupal, one of the most interesting creators of Italian street art, came to Poznań, where during the week he will create a unique mural at ul. Nowowiejskiego.

"Mauro Pallotta was born in 1972 in Rome, Italy where he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts immediately revealing his innate talent for drawing. Since the very beginning of his career, Mauro works using materials such as paper, wood and steel where he is able to depict his subjects in a harmonious way.

In his first works, Mauro extrapolates daily objects such as playing cards, wood, wine corks, glass and plastic and he incorporates them into a new project where each element takes a new meaning. Later on, he shows a keen interest in the potential of using acrylic spray on wool steel, creating images which at first sight may appear unfinished, however with a closer look offer a realistic representation of the chosen subject to the viewer. Mauro’s work shows his great versatility and skills in shaping different subjects and portraying their most characteristic expressions and distinctive aspects of their nature".
