The Good Postman. A small Bulgarian village has, for centuries, been called the Great Gate because of its proximity to the Ottoman Empire. In the age of the migration crisis, it is on the route of asylum seekers in Europe. Ivan, the eponymous postman, would like the newcomers to settle in the village, as it has been abandoned by almost all the young people. He does, however, have his own agenda, as he is running for village mayor.
