  • Review of 4 festival performances

    Georg-Büchner-Gymnasium
    Home is Chocolate

Five people of different nationalities are talking about finding a new place in the world. There are many obstacles in their way to a better life, including a visit to the foreign office or the need to face their own fears. This biographical narrative is enhanced by collages on the notion of home.

    Chernihiv Youth Theatre “Teatr 23”
    Once upon a time

We are used to judging others. What if we stopped this, and simply started accepting everything that happens to us? Would we stop being afraid and suspicious? Would we stop blaming others and would others stop blaming us? Would we be happier?

    Gimnazjum nr 9 – Poznań
    Calling for Peace

The performance focuses on the problems of the modern world: violence, intolerance and the lack of respect for other people. The initial euphoria triggered by an act of destroying that which stands in your way, turns into a sense of powerlessness and loneliness over time. Destruction leaves a void, a silence – a silent cry for peace.

    Gimnazjum Akademickie Da Vinci
    War

You might think that the word “war” is unmistakably linked to fear, and that everyone associates it with pain, death and disaster. What about children playing soldiers in the yard? Do they not contradict this? And how do we, young people, see this repeatedly and impassively reported subject?
