Are you a young researcher, writer, reviewer? Are you interested in professional development in the area of performative art? Join our Critical Practice working group.
Critical Practice is based around magazines such as “TkH [Walking Theory]”, „Maska”, „Frakcija”, as well as Nomad Dance Academy. The intention of the program is to support the professional development of authors from the region of former Yugoslavia and beyond, to develop critical reflection about modern performative arts. The special Poznań edition of the program will involve 10 young authors interested in writing critical texts, organising their own work, discussing and creating new formats of critical exchange. The aim of the broadened Critical Practice group is networking with Polish authors and working on new forms of communication between artists and the Malta public (meetings after performances) and creating short texts about the plays and the festival itself.
If you are interested in participating in the program please go to criticalpractice-madeinyu.info and find out about it on the blog, and then send us your CV (in English) and a cover letter as well as one sample text written by you (the text may be in Polish) to masterclass@malta-festival.pl by 5 June 2017, 23:59.
The conversations will be in English. The participation is free of charge. We do not cover the cost of travel or accommodation.
